The residential Kyudo Intensive at Dorje Denma Ling near Tatamagouch is an annual highlight. Doing this practice in the container of a rural meditation centre deepens the journey.
But this year is extra special: Shibata Sensei XXI, the bowmaker to the emperor of Japan, is coming to teach in Canada for the first time!
This is a true honour and rare opportunity - fantastic! We are thrilled that Sensei is travelling all the way from Japan to teach us.

Arrival will be Thursday afternoon, with an opening talk on Thursday evening, and full days of practice on Friday and Saturday. Sunday will be almost a full day; a closing ceremony will end the program.

This program is not suited for beginners; you must take First Shot instruction before the program! Students from age 13 on can participate.
